Original Air Date： June 25th 2009 The Last Blade： BtD for the NGPC is a superb handheld fighter that focuses more on skill and personal preference than simple button mashing． The cast of characters is good for a handheld fighter the visuals are very impressive for a NGPC fighter with excellent artwork (though I still think nothing tops ’Match of the Millenium’ in terms of overall NGPC fighting fun) and there are quite a number of things that you can unlock． It’s a wonderful blend of two very good fighting games： The Last Blade and The Last Blade 2 (and if you haven’t heard of those games I suggest them)． Besides the style and theme of the game this game is also interesting for introducing different methods of fighting which come in three flavors： Power Speed and EX． It’s pretty simple as to what they do． Power makes your blows more powerful but limits your chaining potential． Speed allows more skilled players to string together rapid attacks in succession． EX is a combination of power and speed (and the mode I tend to use the most) but decreases your defense making you succuumb to enemy attacks easily． This game allows you to buy new things like skills mini-games and modes with points and will last you a good little while as you try to perfect your moves and unlock everything． I love the rushing attacks in this game and in the Dreamcast LB2． Enjoy． Video Notes： There is no effective way to record the NGPC as many are aware so this was obviously emulated． However b．．．／b
